Frequently asked questions

Before sign up

What is the difference between an adhering member and an ordinary member?
The Member subscription is designed for those approaching these topics without practicing the profession. The Ordinary Member is someone who works as a coach, mentor, or supervisor: in addition to events and the reserved area, they get a public profile page and access to the pathway for EMCC qualifications.
Do I already need to be a qualified coach or mentor to enroll?
No. You can join as an Affiliate even just out of interest in coaching, mentoring, and supervision. If you are already practicing, however, registration as an Ordinary Member gives you access to the EMCC credentialing pathway.
How long does the subscription last and how is it renewed?
The membership is valid for 365 days from the date of joining and does not follow the calendar year. As the expiration date approaches, you will receive a renewal reminder so you do not lose access to events and the members-only area. If you have any questions, you can always write to us.
How does the registration work for a school or an organization?
Schools and organizations have different needs, which is why we prepare a customized quote. Tell us about your organization and a representative will guide you toward the best solution, including the enrollment of your staff.
How do I access EMCC qualifications after registration?
Access to the EMCC qualification pathway (such as the EIA) is reserved for Full Members. Once registered, you can consult the Qualifications page and contact the Qualifications Committee to be guided step by step.
